Pre-Waxed SRAM Red AXS 12 Speed Chain
About the Wax:
The new SRAM Red 12 Speed Chain is ultrasonically stripped of the factory packaging grease with a special chain degreasing solution.
The now super clean and pristine factory chain, is then submerged in molten Silca Secret Wax in a separate ultra sonic cleaner until every link and pin has been coated inside and out.
The chain is placed into a sealed bag along with the factory quick links
NOTE: When first installed and ridden, the wax on the exterior will flake. This is normal. Just wipe away any flakes after your ride.
About the Chain:
The SRAM RED chain was redeveloped from the ground up. The unique link shape allows the chain to be narrower and lighter while increasing strength and providing more space between the outer plates of the chain and the cogs on either side. Result: a quieter chain with faster, more precise shifts.
