About the Wax:
The new Shimano 11 Speed Dura Ace Chain is ultrasonically stripped of the factory packaging grease with a special chain degreasing solution.
The now super clean and pristine factory chain is then submerged in a separate ultrasonic molten wax system until every link and pin has been coated inside and out.
The chain is placed into a sealed bag along with the factory quick links
NOTE: When first installed and ridden, the wax on the exterior will flake. This is normal. Just wipe away any flakes after your ride.
